Noynoy Aquino Tv Ad – Hindi Ako magnanakaw; Ninoy, Cory, Noynoy and the Bandwagon Effect
Any one of those presidentiables can easily make this promise.. and it is easier said than done!
Instead of promises, I hope that most people would rather look at accomplishments and track records.
I agree that noone can deny the contributions made by both by Cory and Ninoy ... but I simply hate it when children or relatives try to use solely their surnames or consanguinity to get to a position and not do anything at all. I would like to believe the Noynoys popularity in the surveys is simply because of the recent hype stirred by Cory's death.. and would soon fade away... I hope.
Come on... 3 terms as congressman and 1 term as senator - all resulting to 9 bills and ZERO laws. How can we see that he would make a good leader and would have the BALLS to be good one?
"It is not WHAT you know, but WHO you know" - don't you just hate it? And yet this is so common. This is why Mang Berto is our baranggay captian... simply because his dad is the mayor's sister's former gardener. Also why Magno was promoted... simply because his father's best friend's niece is the manager. Also why a Celso got the job... because his sister's ex-boyfriend's former teacher is the HR manager.
And yet we regret (that is if he is guilty) that Datu Andal Jr was ever placed in power. Patriarch Datu Andal Sr is former governor, son-in-law Datu Akmad is mayor, Zaldy is ARMM Governor, Anwar is also Mayor.
Are we not fed up yet?
Though I do not like Erap Estrada, I do like the fact that he worked his way up. What did Loi and his children do to earn their places in higher government positions?
I am NOT saying that Noynoy would not make a good president and I would like to believe that Cory did a good job with all her children (yes with sarcasm
). But until the time that Noynoy has made a name for himself and has made accomplishments that he could claim as his own, I refuse to join the bandwagon.

We all are convinced NoyNoy is by far the most reasonable pick for the presidency in the Philippines, not really due to the fact he is the boy of heroes Cory and also Benigno Aquino but because he’s the less significant evil within the candidates. For sure we are able to explore concerning the Hacienda Luisita killings but in the end of the day his competitors contain a lot a whole lot worse records. He stays genuine to his anti-corruption plan, also among the other people vying for presidency he doesn’t have a corruption problems. We met him once on a get together, this individual seems so great and clear and let me add a perfect gentleman too.

I do agree that Noynoy may be the “least of all evils” among the presidentiables… and it is sad that we have to make do with the available options.
However, for people who have not met him personally, me and 99% (?) of the voting population, Noynoy would be a passive president… as he has not proven that he “CAN” put things into action.
Though I believe that corruption is one of the many problems which needs to be addressed, I would rather go for somebody who would have the country earn Php 10M and pocket Php 1M for himself, than somebody who can’t do anything at all.

I may be convinced Noynoy is not corrupt. However, would he make much difference if the people around him are corrupt even if he is the head of state. I may not need to be proven of his honesty, but I need to be proven of his political will to implement his values. That wont be easy. He needs to put things in action, I wonder how can a true gentleman make it so. Yet I’m still hoping if he wins, he would make a lot of change. I also wish I met him in person, maybe I’d buy for him.
